COMMERCIAL PROGRAM MANAGER
For our young and ambitious developing campus organisation, we are looking for a commercial all-round program manager, who strengthens and renews the connection and cooperation in the field of space through initiatives, (innovation) projects and programs to stimulate campus development. You will contribute to the implementation of the long-term strategic plan of Space Campus. Actions are aimed at strengthening the substantive network and ecosystem, stimulating innovation, entering new partnerships and attracting new players and businesses to the campus. All this with the aim of strengthening and accelerating campus development.
The program manager is responsible for setting up and developing initiatives. Both in terms of content and, if applicable, in the translation to physical housing and area development. You have insight into the needs and trends of the eco-system and develop Initiatives and programs to strengthen the ecosystem, innovation and the living environment. You stimulate cross-sectoral cooperation and thus new business activity.
Account management and business development
As a program manager, you set up partnerships and account management. You are a visible, accessible and customer-oriented point of contact, a strategic advisor and substantive discussion partner for entrepreneurs, partners and start-ups. You are enterprising and translate initiatives and developments into concrete follow-up steps in an appealing and visual way. You have and keep insight in (inter)national market developments and create business opportunities and customer relationships for (new) residents of Space Campus.
Business operations and real estate development
You will contribute to the operational management of SCN in the form of drawing up the (draft) budget and annual accounts and the associated quarterly reports for the foundation. Financially you monitor the projects, take care of the proper handling of them and you give shape to the content of the leadership. This also includes the responsibility of SCN in the implementation of any subsidy projects. You are also the first point of contact for real estate development and advise the municipality of Noordwijk and the entrepreneurs on this matter.
Collaboration and networking
In the global network you connect the existing stakeholders on campus and beyond, create buzz and strengthen the ecosystem and living environment. You follow local and international developments closely and respond to them smartly and effectively.
You will work closely with a wide range of stakeholders such as key players on the campus in Noordwijk, including ESA ESTEC, GRC, SBIC, Groundstation DotSpace, SCN AVATAR, Space Expo and the companies and institutions that are now based on the campus. You will also work closely together with, among others, Innovation Quarter, NSO, SpaceNed, municipality, province, LDE universities, knowledge institutes (SRON, TNO), other campuses, etc., as well as with partners in the international network. And of course, within SCN you work very closely together with the director, the community manager and the LDE liaison officer Space and contribute to the further shaping of the organisation.
BACKGROUND AND PERSONALITY
As a program manager, you are all-round in setting up, managing and supervising projects and programs and reporting on them in a communicative way, and you bring proven experience with large programs and/or projects within Public Private Partnership (PPP).
You are a strategic discussion partner and have experience as a commercial account manager. You have knowledge of and or experience with the high tech (space) world and innovation processes. As a natural bridge builder, you have experience to create business opportunities in a complex stakeholder field.

WHAT DOES SCN OFFER?
SCN offers an independent, challenging and responsible position within a small organisation. The position offers flexibility and space with a working week of 28 to 36 hours per week.
The salary for this position amounts to a minimum of €3561, - and a maximum of €5872, - gross per month with a 36-hour working week, vacation allowance (8%) and travel allowance. You will have access to a laptop and cell phone. For the time being, this is an appointment for 1 year, after which a further career depends, among other things, on further developments on Campus and the appropriate job profile.
